Band of brothers: Birmingham area group connects dads
“If you’re not as strong as you are, you can’t be the best for the people around you. So, I looked at him and I asked, ‘Have you heard of anything, any resources that are out there specifically for dads? Because I know I could use it.’ And looks at me and he goes, ‘No. But why don’t you do something about it?’“
Lane Hagan, founder of Libby’s Friends, joins other members of Dads of Kids with Special Needs to talk about the important role the group plays for fathers of children with special health care needs.
