Self-advocacy: The importance of speaking up for young adults with disabilities 

It’s just building that encouragement so they can build that confidence that we ourselves had to build up at some time in our lives.

Katie Toro and Deshon Washington, peer advocates with the Disability Resource Network in Huntsville, join anchor Sarah Williams to talk about the importance of young people with disabilities “finding their voice” and then using that voice to get what they need to be successful.
