Exercise provides significant benefits for people with disabilities

“It (exercise) positively reinforces that positive attitude about yourself. … It gives you a stress relief from the everyday woes of day-to-day life.”

Zarius Walker gives viewers an introduction to being physically active through adaptive exercises; explains the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of exercise for people with disabilities; shares exercises that can be done at home; and discusses exercise myths and what a person can expect when starting an exercise routine.
