Right now, a lot of folks with significant disabilities get put into guardianships. When there’s a guardian, the person for which the guardianship is done doesn’t have control over their lives – the guardian does.

Dr. Graham Sisson, executive director of the Governor’s Office on Disability (GOOD), joins Alabama Care to discuss the importance and relevance of federal and state legislation to people with disabilities.
