People with disabilities seek ‘dream’ jobs at hiring expo
“When you’re looking at someone face to face, versus just getting something over email or the internet or whatever, it does make a true difference because you see how wonderful these individuals are, how committed and dedicated they are – wanting to work, wanting to be a good employee.”
Alabama Care broadcasts live from the 2nd Annual disAbility Hiring Expo, sponsored by United Ability, along with the Alabama Council on Developmental Disabilities and the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation, featuring some 30 employers from various industries discussing career opportunities and conducting on-site interviews.
