ADMH provides interpreting services to Deaf individuals with mental health conditions

Can you separate mental health from the humanness of an individual? A disabled individual is a human first. Their mental wellness is part of that humanness.

Steve Hamerdinger, director of the Office of Deaf Services with the Alabama Department of Mental Health, joins Alabama Care in talking about the links between mental health and disability and the mental health care services and resources available for the Deaf community.
